Auction: GSTAAD SPORT PIGEONS

GSTAAD SPORT PIGEONS

My name is Christian Bähn (44 years old) and a trained carpenter.

I grew up with carrier pigeons at the gates of Berlin, in Germany. My father and I formed and still form a community today. And I was also quite successful, as I was proud when we were able to exhibit the 8. Ace Pigeon BRD in Dortmund in 2009, as well as the 23. Ace Pigeon at the federal level.

In 2010, I moved professionally to Switzerland, where I could not keep a pigeon myself for 10 years. In 2021, I was able to start again with carrier pigeons here in Switzerland. My goal from the beginning was to pick up where I left off in 2009. I knew the ambitious goals were the ambitious goals. But as you know, you grow with your goals. Due to my geographical location, it is not possible for me to participate in the travel process. My focus is on OLR flights. Nevertheless, I would also like to continue breeding and improving the pigeon travel program. Which are then tested on other strikes in the race plant.

That's how I tried to get the best pigeons from the beginning. The CH-22-451, a son of Olympic nitro, SG Wirz. He is the father of CH-23-458 (55º As Pigeon OLR Sofia) and BEAUTY GIRL (33º Final Golden Algarve Race 2025)

Then came Top offspring and org. the Gebr. Leideman A.& B., e.g. "APOLLO", a full brother to "TILA”, "SIA" and "OLYMPIC WOLFGANG".

In addition, "Dirk van den Bulck pigeons", grandson "Kittel", Top grandson (in) of the "Porsche 911" by PEC.

From the Romario family, fully breed here, among other things: SWISS ROMARIO 870, a double grandson of the ROMARIO J.Hallmann, Thomas 24 a son of Thomas 1 Org. Simon Wolf, THOMAS 6 HONEY a daughter of the THOMAS 6, 1º FINAL Golden Algarve Race 2018.

They serve as passers for the Org. Gaston van de Wouwer pigeons.

The NEW KIM line is a very successful family that I love to have and would like to continue to breed.

My passion is to breed balanced, fast and constant pigeons, which are able to show their potential even as young animals. It is a pleasure to see the pigeons flying here in the Swiss mountains.
